There is nothing wrong with having doubts about your faith, but that does not mean to give up. It simply means to pursue your faith even more.

...Winter War. Your claim that the Baltics states willingly agreed to Soviet occupation is higly offensive to the Balts. They did agree to Soviet demands for military bases on their territory, but this is a far cry from agreeing to having your civil liberties trampled on for fifty years. That the Balts didn't rise up in 1940 against an army that was practically within their borders already was to avoid unnecessary bloodshed, but resist they did, waging a guerilla war against Soviet occupation well into the 1950s. Finally, I find your blaming Britain for WWII... imaginative.

Gameronice, you disregard the fact that Nazi Germany sided with the Soviets during the Winter War. Only a few months earlier, the two had signed the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, which secretly put Finland in the Soviet "sphere of interest". There's no evidence that Finland was shifting towards the Axis camp before the Winter War. In fact, the Finnish government gladly accepted military intervention proposed by allies Britain and France. In the aftermath of the war Finland entered into a military alliance with Sweden, but the alliance came to nothing due to opposition from Nazi Germany and the USSR. Finland had just signed a bitter peace accord with the latter, and Sweden realized it was a prime target for occupation by either, not in the least because of its crucial iron ore deposits. In summary, nothing suggests that Finland was a willing ally of the Axis, before, during or after the Wi...

... 4) The single role of the Winter War was to push the theoretical front further from Leningrad, as Finland was shifting towards Axis and provide a base for German soldiers up north, as Staling, believing in peace, still prepared for war.

Well... Though Soviet Uniod was led by a vicious dictator... 1) Main culprits behind WWII is Britain, for with it's foreign politics of allowing Germany to do as it pleases, and make it aggressive and turn conflict to Soviet Union, and for that Poland must have been sacrificed. There could have never been war if Britain and allies would have intervened in the late-mid 30s, when Germany started to grow an army, test weapons and demand territories. 2) Most Soviet occupied territories were inhabited mainly by Ukrainians and Byelorussians. 3) Occupation of Baltic States is still a very fragile matter. For it happened more under diplomatic pressure, not military. With current leaders willingly allying to USSR. In some sources it is noted that the regimes in Baltic States were originally made under soviet influence and with soviet funding. 4) The single role of the Winter War was to push...

full of cheese, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, would be fare just as well as if they did not go up against great pitchers in their day.Less team means they faced the good ones more often. You are not very learned in the game. People still run throw and and have strengths as before and the stadiums are still relatively the same size.

It was not only Poland that suffered Soviet aggression during World War II. In 1940, the Soviet Union forcibly annexed the Baltic states and large parts of Romania. Their territorial demands against Finland led to the Winter War, and later, the Continuation War, with a million unnecessary casualties on the Soviet side alone. Compared to Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union may have been the lesser of two evils, but the epitaph "Evil Empire" still fits.

interesting, because most kids I know who smoke pot haven't done much with their lives- its a trap for too many people, like alcohol or whatever... and it does have an effect on memory, motivation in the long run... and does contain over 200 chemicals that react differently to different folks' chemical make up.. duh
