What I do? Social Work student at Hardin-Simmons University Who I am? So much but so little. I spent 36 years trying to be a square peg in a round hole, fitting in now causes me to bust out every chance I get. What I want? Peace. Liberty. Chocolate. Where I am going? The dreams I had in high school are still the same in my heart. Veering off track has helped solidify what I want...to be heard and respected. No specific industry is a must, self-validation is the key for me.

Thank you for your article. Your thought process highlighted in your article ran through my head today. As a society we concentrate on quantity versus quality, a perspective creating a false sense of connection first focusing on my wants rather than your needs. While sitting in a support group meeting today, I stewed over the fact that I wasn't called on to share. After thirty minutes, I reached a point where I concentrated on how and what others were saying which gave me an idea for my first article on eHow, an article now on my drafting board. The group actually gave me what I needed in return for listening to their needs versus speaking about my wants.
