Twins in a sling on the mom sounds challenging.
I wait to exercise right after nursing my baby so I am empty and more comfortable.
milkmuse, thanks so much for sharing such helpful, vital information.
I had inverted nipples, and had many problems and difficulties getting started breastfeeding my babies. I have successfully breastfed both of them and I have learned a lot about working with inverted nipples! Wearing breast shells during pregnancy does not change the shape of the nipple; it goes back to normal shortly after removing the shell. Breast shells are most effective when worn postpartum for 15-20 minutes before a feeding.Using a breast pump before nursing is cumbersome. Simply pulling your nipple out with your fingers works much better: grasp your nipple gently but firmly with your thumb above and fingers below and pull. Turn your hand 90 degrees so that your thumb and fingers are on the sides and pull again. Repeat several times until nipple protrudes.
