I think this is a great resource with suggestions on how to integrate some technology into the classroom. What site do you recommend to use to create a classroom website? I know some of the teachers in my school use a site called schoolnotes.com, which is free. I agree that it is best practice to provide a list of sites for students to choose from. This protects them from visiting sites that may not be best for them to see and limits the scope of the search which could take a ton of time. I think the idea of a discussion forum is awesome, but how do you monitor students on this? Can they post something that is off topic or not appropriate? I also believe it is important to provide instruction to our students. We cannot expect them to discover everything on their own in two class periods. I wish there were easy step-by-step instructions on how to work with the elementary stud...
