Great information! 5*
There is indeed are tremendous improvements to performance and stability after installing the service pack versus going with an earlier version of Windows Vista.
If one has to go through all that to install Vista Service Pack One...I say...it's not worth it. I see it like this!!! If it works good...leave it alone. The service pack has been nothing but a problem for most. Not worth the effort.
Nice article, 5 stars!
Great article. Especially Step 5 - how could a hat and coat (or worse) improve the look of one of the cutest animals on our planet? It can't. I would like to add one thing: ferrets don't have a homing instinct, so don't let them on the loose outside. (Yes, I'm in CA, no, I don't have a ferret.)
Good ideas!
Oh, this method definitely worked for my final paper in urban sociology. Alterations, there is something about working in the dark staring at a bright laptop monitor that keeps me awake (I was a radar techncian in the Navy and remember watching indicator lights in the dark) And yes on moving the laptop to a coffee table. Still don't know why this is more productive. Four AM is the magic hour for me. It's the hardest hour to stay awake. If I am halfway done by five, then I have a 80/20 shot of sticking it out versus calling it quits. What I've learned the most...if you can present some solid arguments/content in the body but run out of time on the conclusion, most professors will give you an extra day to tweek it up. Just don't go to class empty handed. I swear I was developing an ulcer on my last paper, because I could not stay with one thesis statement. My response...I started skipping
Thanks for your article. I added your article to my environment blog. You give practicle advice for recycling batteries: think before you buy. Why buy a battery-powered watch if you can purchase one that is self-winding? Why buy a watch in the first place? The time is blasted everywhere we go. Why do we need to wear it? Personally I feel remotes created unnecessary battery consumption in addition to spreading backsides. When I read your article, I couldn't help envisioning the scene in the Matrix where humans were harvested as batteries...consumed and thrown away. Makes you wonder who the machines were modeling?
Good ideas. Thank you!
