Tall trees, clear lakes and mountain streams--not the first thing you think of when you think of Arizona. I went hiking at Bear Wallow last year and was really taken by how green it is. We even did a little trout fishing! If you're driving across Arizona, it's a few hours off the main freeway, but definitely worth the stop if you like fresh air and seeing new wilderness.

Taking kids on vacation can be a demanding experience, when you consider all of their needs. A cruise has always been a good way to take the stress out of family travel, as everything is provided for you. But even so, kids still demand attention. Combine a cruise with a staff and facilities that can help care for you children, and you've one relaxing vacation! Take it from me. Not all cruises are the best for kids, but the few that cater to them are well worth it.
