I did this after our German Shepherd puppy ate my wife's hair scrunchie. He actually brought it up once himself and ate it immediately before we could grab it. It was a bit scary when he kept throwing up...but luckily we had some FortiFlora (TM) which is used to soothe a dogs stomach. We gave the FortiFlora to him about 30 minutes after the peroxide and the vomiting stopped and some ice chips...besides the cold shoulder the puppy gave me during the whole ordeal I would say this worked excellently....

Thanks so much! My pup Jibs ate a chicken wing and I was freaking OUT -got stuck in his throat and we are an hour away from the vet. Thank you so much for this article, it may have just saved my dogs life. I walked outside for 5 minutes and he got ahold of my muscle relaxer pill bottle, got the bottle open and ate a few. It was too late to call the vet, so I had to act fast. I did this and the threw everything up, even the pills. He is ok now, sleeping on the couch. Thanks again!

Thanks, worked like a dream. Gave our 9 month old Lab a half of a eaten corn on the cobb and he swallowed the entire thing. After giving the hydrogen peroxide it took approximately 5 minutes and it all came up including his evening feeding. I'm sure this information might have saved his life as it's Sunday or at least saved me a couple of thousand dollars. Again Thank You!!!!!!!

so thankful! only it might take a little longer than a minute...we learned the hard way... took him out of the tub and ended up with throw up all over the carpet
