I disagree. Overstretching the tendon could be the cause of the pain... especially if the pain is at the place where the tendon attaches to the heel. It is better to raise the heel a little with an insert or buying one of the shoes for runners that have the heels HIGHER than the toes.
Hi, I'm usually shivering too. My usual post-ice bath routine is to hop out, put on my warm bathrobe, drink coffee and check my e-mail. Then take a long, warm shower. Have fun!

Yes, I think so! Definitely start off with alternating walking and jogging, even if you only jog for a minute at a time. Build up gradually and listen to your body! -- Heather J
I haven't run in years. I used to run 6 to 15 miles a day faithfully but its been so long now I couldn't run a block. Do you think this will work for someone like me?
