Getting rid of skunk smell under normally is very difficult. The Peroxide mixture will reduce the smell but not get rid of it. Tomato juice did nothing for the skunk odor I was working on, and detergent especially on dog fur can cause a dry skin condition that can be very expensive to fix. There is however a product that I have found that really works called OdorXit Concentrate that is available on the web at odorxit.com that really works! The last time my dog got sprayed was at 11:30 pm on his late night toilet run. We washed and treated him with OdorXit and by 2AM he was sleeping at the foot of our bed. ODOR FREE!
