Apparently Ben failed to consult with a structural engineer and built his wall with several severe errors. The lateral horizontal stress of the adjacent grade was not taken into consideration and he had a failure in his wall. He shortchanged his psi level for his concrete and used lighter cinder block with insufficient grout within the walls to make his physical labor experience easier. This resulted in the failure of the wall. I would wonder also about the size and dimensions of his footings in his pad and how much structural steel was used. His method is fine for a low decorative cinder block wall such as a divider but is insufficient for his purposes. I hope he corrected ALL of the structural problems so he can a safe and worthy area to work in. Good luck Ben.
This vid will not play, and neither will any of the others. Any suggestions?
When does the actual instruction begin. All we see is a video of a dirty crushed rock driveway.
