This sentence has been misprinted due to editor error: "Brewer's yeast garlic for dogs is used for improvement of skin and conditions and as flea repellent." The sentence should read "Brewer's yeast garlic for dogs is used for improvement of skin and coat conditions and as flea repellent."
I apologize for the mistype both I and the editor missed; 18 F = 10 C For the other question, I took the information from the heater manufacturer's chart. See http://www.aquariumsdirect.com/aquarium-supplies/heaters/thermatechsubmersibleaquariumheater.cfm?TID=PLX037&source=pjn&subid=22935 for clarification
Interesting article. I've never heard of doing this. I'll keep it mind if the situation occurs. Thanks!
This doesn't make sense to me. You say it takes a 50W heater to raise 50L by 5C but you're saying it takes 75W to raise the same water by 10C. Doesn't it take double? To raise 50L (10G) by 5C (9F) you need 50W So surely to raise by 10C (18F) you need 10W per gallon or a 100W heater not 75W? Also the line "9 F (5 C), 18 F (15 C) and 27 F (15C)" should be "9 F (5 C), 18 F (10 C) and 27 F (15C)" Can you confirm?
