About "the iPhone will open and allow you to read all commonly used file types that are attached to email, including video"... Well, I think that wmv, avi, mpg and mpeg files are the most commonly used video file types and there is no way to play them directly from your email inbox, on your iPhone. I had a hard time trying to make it work and currently I am using a third party service (not an app) called iPhoneVideoServer that was the only way I found to open those attached files. I mean, I don't know what is Apple taking about when saying "commonly used file types"...
