I guess I am technically middle aged, although I am quite surprised that I actually made it this far..it seems like yesterday that I was four, or twenty or thirty..and so on. I actually can remember what it was like being those ages, and I think most people can too. They just, for whatever reasons, want to deny their past, when perhaps mistakes, or poor choices were made. My pet peeve is the lack of real listening that a lot of people practice. Most anticipate what others will say. I hate that!

Petite (our little 7 year old Persian) now is completely amenable..well most of the time..to getting 'daddy' to 'do' her mani and pedi - cure. Sometimes if she is a little rangy though we just do the front claws and leave the back ones for another day. She knows there are treats coming at the end, and we praise her to the hilt the entire time, and that makes the process easier too. Good advice from the EXpert. Anyone seen that joke about 'how to give your cat a pill??' hilarious!

Frankly I find our baby, a Persian named Petite, of claw trimming fame, (she enjoys it) always smells better than we do, like she's been hanging on the line.all fresh and sweet...can't imagine her standing for a bath, love those pictures though, and if your cat DOES need a bath, this is good advice. I would leave the claw clipping for another day, if kitty is trauma - ed by bath..maybe a break would be in order for sanity of all. Yeah, lots of treats, but still two stages..this sounds pretty grim pour la chat!
