Step 3 is horrible. I believe send out karma in this world and what goes around comes around. If you screw someone over and use them - just because you have been hurt...then you are no better than the person that hurt you. And, you have learned nothing from the relationship.

You do not need an attorney to file a quit claim deed; however, you may want to use one to ensure that your rights are protected and that the deed is adequate.
