This was easy enough to do with my two year old daughter. We had fun making the bars and they were pretty yummy!

I'm sorry, this cereal bar is terrible; so much processed sugar, white flour and margerine (icky fats!)- one may as well hit MickyD's on the way to work...

Good idea about the hot or cold pack. Just make sure not to put popcorn in the sock. You could buy those socks from Socklab on Ebay that snap together for washing and drying so you won't lose them. They're the coolest socks ever and feel so good.

This is a really neat idea. My sons' grandmother made a video of herself reading them a favorite picture book. It is a treasured keepsake!

This is a fantastic idea, and I plan to use it in the classroom as well! This is the perfect way to make my classroom listening centre even more personal and would be helpful for parents AND teachers. Because blank cassette tapes and tape players aren't as easy to find these days, I plan to use the microphone on my computer and record myself reading each book to my harddrive. The bag will ensure that just in case the CD gets loose from the pocket inside the book that

  • Comment by KathyKing on How to Eliminate Household Smells on Nov 05, 08

If you like the smell of clean I want to share a new product with you. It's really designed to eliminate heavy duty odors like pet odors, smoke and even mold and mildew. But what is actually does is a completely disinfects and it destroys any bacteria mold or mildew that's causing the odor. So in essence, the place is actually disinfected and left smelling crisp and clean like no other product I've ever used. It also worked wonders for my husband's allergies. The product is called Room Shocker and you can find a website called BiocideSystems.com.
