TV engineer since 1993 then we included vacuum cleaner repairs 1999. Most popular vacuum we repair is Dyson range. Started to repair LCD & PLASMA TV sets 2005. I would say that I have A large knowledge of TV, VCR, SATELITE, FREEVIEW, DVD, DVD RECORDERS, Dyson Vacuum cleaners & most UK vacuums. The Dyson range of cleaners are identical regardles of where you are in the world other than the moins voltage.

Hi. You are all doing it completely wrong. The dyson helpline rep is correct in what she says. I am a vacuum cleaner service engineer & see lots of dyson machines that have problems with the vortex due to washing. We use a much easier & quicker way to clean them that does not need water or airline (infact using an air line can clog the holes in vortex tube far worse than they allready were) The method we use takes less than 30 mins & machine is ready to go no waiting for it to dry. for more details go to http://dysonmanuals.inc.io/

Hi. Sorry but I need to put you right about the paragrph in step 5. (• Blotches of color on the screen: Caused when your projection TV becomes magnetized. Use a strong magnetic coil and make circular motions around your projection TV screen starting on the upper left corner. Increase the size of the circles you're making until you've covered the entire screen. Slowly move away from the screen; continuing to make circular motions with the magnet. When the magnet loses contact, the color blotches should be gone.) This will only work with standard CRT TV sets. It will not work with make or model of projection TV set.
