That is very poor and dangerous advice,very vague Horse shoeing is a extremely exacting science. ONLY trained professional farriers or persons who have undergone formal training in horse shoeing should attempt to trim or shoe horses. Serious damage can be done to the horse by following the vague advice in this article.
