I was kidnapped and taken to Texas! Well, not really, but I'm pretty sure that's what my friends, family and coworkers thought. My husband transferred here, so I went from a working mom to a SAHM. We like it, but it's very different from the Pacific Northwest. (My husband is fond of saying that he went from a conservative to a liberal without changing any of his views.) In my old life, I was an assistant event coordinator at a book store that handles a ton of author readings and signings.
