you can also shop at teen stores like pacsun, tilly's, and zumiez and junors departments.
im 11 and may be a little ahead for my age because i am 5 foot 1. i have a 14 year old sister and a strong desire to not get dresscoded at school. my mom gives me and my sister money and heads toward the massage chairs. its not really that hard if your child is mature and understands how to check if things fit.
im not allowed to wear makeup until 7th grade but i dont need it too much yet. i still think lipgloss when applied lightly is always appropriate and my parents dont consider it makeup. especially when its the clear kind that has moisturizers.
bring your daughter with you so they can have a say in their wardrobe and make sure clothes fit. also look in junors departments and once they are a little bigger teen stores like pacsun, tilly's, zumiez, etc. i really think people should make tween sections because you dont skip from 9 to 14. i am 11 but 5 foot 1 so a little ahead for my age and i think teen stores are more accurate than child departments right now.
This article is soso.
I wished I'd read this article before I decided to homeschool. This advice is great and encourages me to learn more about myself so that I can be a more effective teacher for my child. I look forward to a better school year.
