I have just found a wonderful solution to fleas on very young pets. Johnson's Baby Shampoo. Apply it liberally on the pet, without water. Start on the face being careful to avoid the eyes. Then apply it all over the animal and let it sit for about 10 minutes. You will find the fleas are dead. It's safe to use often. I worry about all the sprays, spot-on, and insecticides sprayed in the home. Even pyrethrins are converted to xogenous estrogens in humans which can have serious effects and are like having too much estrogen in your body. In other words, they will promote cancer tumor growth. I think we should avoid insecticides at all costs. Spraying only covers the environment with poison. Powders are vacuumed up and are breathed into the lungs.
