This is such priceless advice and divine wisdom, if I may say so. Society (myself included) is so caught up with beauty and the outward things of the world that we have forgotten to keep the "Main Things" first priority! The pursuit of happiness was set as a standard for this country. Dictionary.com has one definition of pursuit listed as a diversion that occupies one's time and thoughts (usually pleasantly); "sailing is her favorite pastime"; "they criticized the boy for his limited pursuits" [syn: pastime]I certainly know the effects of making faith my pastime. Society at large should replace the pursuit for cosmetic perfection, with internal repair.
