How to live with a person with aspergers syndrome on 03/24/08

The really sad part is being married to someone with Aspergers.I have been married for 17 years and just now finding out why we have so many problems and why they will never ever change. The only good part is that I just found out that I am not crazy. I am however very sad and very very lonley and in need of change. Divorce??!!?? Possibly, but I have 5 children. Two were diagnoised with Aspergers. That's how I figured out that my husband has it. I feel so alone and empty. I have asked him for years why don't you know me. How is it that you didn't see that person whas getting angry?? Can't you see I am upset? Why can't you remember to help your kids??? Why would you say something like that, or hy would you say somehting in that tone of voice? Most of his answers were "I don't know." On and On and On and on..... I really thought he was just be ignorant and just trying to ignore the naggin

Favorite Books: The one truely great book I have read that I can remeer is called Joshua

Favorite Movies & TV Shows: I used to love the old black and white movies on AMC. Since I had children Disney movies became my entertaimment. But now we are into CSI, Missing, Cold Case. Plus 2 1/2 men, Survivor, Next Top Model. It depenss on which kid I am watcing TV with.

Education: College Degee, hairdressing school(oy) not a good Idea

Associations & Clubs: I started a Support grpup for moms of kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Favorite Music: I really ikesall kinds of music'

I Am an Expert In: Not much. If I was I would have all my problems solve.
