by 08Save and Make Money on 11/16/08 : I have seen some real idiots on bikes as well as in cars also, your tips on wearing the right clothing is essential, it only takes a second to wipe out. A pair of shorts and a t-shirt offers little protection to pavement and curbs, helmets are essential even if they mess up your doo! ...

Isn't that the truth?? And, depending on where you are in the country, you can score some amazing stuff, too. My former publisher discovered some discontinued Disney wallpaper borders in a northern Michigan dollar store. He Googled it to see what it was worth, and when he sold it via eBay to some woman in Germany for FIFTY DOLLARS a roll, he got back in the car, and drove north to buy out everything they had! Turns out it was a rare trim, and worth plenty with Disneyphiles. Thanks for popping in!

How to Avoid Deer Collisions on 12/04/07

I'm so glad it helped! I surely hope you are lucky enough to continue avoiding an actual hit. It was while working for my more recent job that I had occasion to speak often with police officers and 911 dispatchers about deer collisions, and this is what they, and several DNR experts, advised. Holding a good thought for you!!
