Drink flat coke for nausea. Ever since I was little, my grandmother would flatten a can of coke (pour it from one glass to another about 10 times) and give it me over ice. "Little sips" of this really decrease nausea and stomach pain.

Actually, Adzilla, all RCA cables all the same. The color coded tips simply serve to differentiate and correctly match each cord to the jack. The difference between red/yellow/white is only the color, and it does not carry a different type of "signal". As long as the same color is plugged into the corresponding plug on both sides, then you won't have an issue. As far as XLR, only very high end microphones will terminate into XLR, and those are meant for professional sound equipment. Hence, the "common" clause.
