I know rules are different at each house but you forgot to mention anything about bounce shots. We play that if you can successfully bounce the ball off the table and into a cup without the opponent noticing (b/c they can swat it once it touches the table), it is worth two cups.
If both players make shots then you get the balls back to shoot again.
There is also a rule about if both teams hit the same cup, it counts for 3 cups.
Lastly, if you make it into a cup that someone on the other team is holding/drinking, the game is automatically over and you win.
