Ford Truck Turning Specifications

Save

Ford trucks are deliberately made to have wider turning specifications for safety and performance. Since trucks have a wider and longer body when compared to other vehicles --- such as cars or even SUVs --- they need a wider turning circle to ensure their suspension won't get damaged or that their bodies won't bump external obstacles. Different Ford trucks have alternative turning specifications (cargo-bed size also plays a major role on their turning diameters).

The SuperCab and SuperCrew variants with a short bed have a turning circle of 47 feet. The SuperCab with a long bed has a turning circle of 52.3 feet, while the SuperCrew with a long bed has a turning circle of 50.4 feet.
