Classic Car Shows in Hershey, Pennsylvania

Hershey, Pennsylvania is also sometimes known as Chocolatetown, USA. or “The Sweetest Place on Earth.” Not only is Hershey home to a famous chocolate factory, world-class amusement park and many resorts, but several classic car shows happen in the city as well. If you plan to travel by air to Hershey for a classic car show, Harrisburg International Airport is about 8 miles away.

AACA Eastern Fall Meet

  • This show is sponsored by the AACA -- Antique Automobile Club of America -- Hershey Region, and has been held every October since it first began in 1955. In order to show your car at this event, you must be an AACA member and the car must be at least 25 years old and recognized by the AACA. This event also features a flea market, vendors and an awards banquet. You can register online at the AACA Hershey Region website (see Resources).

Meeting of the Marques International Motorshow

  • Run in conjuction with the Children’s Miracle Network Community Celebration, the event is typically held every June. All types of cars are welcome in the show field, including North American, Asian, British and European cars as well as motorcycles. Antique cars, sports cars, race cars and all other models and years are welcome. The event typically features a health fair, entertainment, food, vendors and games. Admission is free for the public and fees usually run $10 to 15 for the car show participants. This event is held at PennState Hershey Medical Center, University Fitness Center.

Hershey Region Cruise Night

  • This young event was to have its inaugural in June 2011. It’s totally free to bring and show off your car -- all models are welcome including classic, custom and street rods -- or just come to enjoy the atmosphere. While it has cruise in the name, this is more of a social event and a chance for car lovers and collectors to show off their cars and swap stories. Participants may or may not actually get in their cars for a cruise around town. The cruise is slated for the Hershey Region Chuck Wagon Lodge, 131 Museum Drive, Hershey, PA 17033, next door to the AACA Museum.

Annual Museum Car Show & Flea Market

  • This event, dating to the 1990s, is held in June. This show is open to all pre-1986 vehicles. Admission to the show grounds is free, but registration to show a car is typically $10 in advance, $15 day of show. This show is at the AACA Museum, 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, PA 17033
