The Indiana Toll Road, also known as Interstate 80/94, provides travelers with an alternative route to the often busy expressway through Indiana and runs east and west from Illinois to Ohio. Although travelers pay a minimal fee to drive on the Indiana Toll Road, there is often less traffic and easy on/off access to hotels.

The Courtyard by Marriott is located at the tip of the western end of the Indiana Toll Road in Hammond just off of exit 3A. Hammond is near major employers such as Ford Motor Company, BP and U.S. Steel, which makes it an ideal location for business travelers. The pet-friendly Extended Stay of America is situated approximately at the half-way point of the Indiana Toll Road at Exit 83 in Mishawaka. Its guest rooms are designed for long-term travelers, but also accommodate overnighters. Mishawaka is near Notre Dame College in South Bend and is home to the College Football Hall of Fame. The Juday Creek Golf Course is not far from the Extended Stay of America. Nearby dining establishments include Bone Fish Seafood Restaurant and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
The Ramada Inn in Angola is located at one of the furthest points east on the Indiana Toll Road at the Fremont Exit 144. The Ramada Inn accommodates families and business travelers alike with its meeting rooms and business center. Travelers to eastern Indiana shop at the Factory Outlet Mall or visit nearby Pokogon State Park. Over 100 lakes are available for boating, fishing or swimming. The area is also home to some of Indiana’s best wineries, including the Satek Winery. Local dining includes Caruso’s Italian and American restaurant, and Lelli’s Hatchery.
