Specs for the 1988 Chevy 20 Van

In 1988 Chevy offered three full-sized vans: G10, G20 and G30. The 1988 Chevy 20 Van -- officially named the Chevrolet G20 -- had two main body styles: base and extended.

Engines

The 1988 Chevy G20 van had two engine options. The base-level engine, a 4.3-liter V-6, produced 150 horsepower and 230 foot-pounds of torque. Chevy also provided the option of a diesel engine, a 6.2-liter V-8, which produced 130 horsepower and 240 foot-pounds of torque.

Interior

Being a cargo van, the 1988 G20 van was only equipped with two front seats. It had 40.8 inches of front head room, 39.5 inches of front leg room, 68.8 inches of front shoulder room and 69.7 inches of front hip room.

Exterior

The base G20 and extended G20 remain the same in all aspects except exterior size. The base G20 has a length of 178.2 inches, width of 79.5 inches, height of 79.5 inches and a wheelbase of 110 inches. The extended versions are 202.2 inches long, 79.5 inches wide, 79.5 tall and had a 125-inch wheelbase.
