How to Remove Toyota Sienna Seats

Many of Toyota's vehicles are the top in their class in vehicle crash test ratings. The Toyota Sienna is no exception. Since 1998, the Sienna has been ranked No. 1 in safety. One of the favorite features among consumers is the many seat configurations. With the push of a button, the seats easily slide out to accommodate all of your storage needs.

Removing Tip-Up Seats

Step 1

Place the arm rest in the "up" position.

Step 2

Pull and hold the seat adjustment bar while pushing the seat in the "down" position. As the seat is folding down, the cushion will fold up.

Step 3

Push the seat forward until you hear it click into a locked position.

Step 4

Pull the release lever, which can be found under the seat cushion, and lift the seat to remove it from the track.

Removing Ottoman Seats

Step 1

Push the arm rest into the "up" position.

Step 2

Pull and hold the seat adjustment bar while pushing the seat in the "down" position.

Step 3

Push the seat forward until you hear it click into a locked position.

Step 4

Pull the release lever, located at the back of the seat, and lift the seat to remove it from the track.

Removing Middle Second Row Seat

Step 1

Lower the head rest into the lowest position.

Step 2

Pull the lock release strap, located at the top of the seat, then fold the seat down.

Step 3

Pull the second lock release strap, located under the seat cushion, and lift the seat. The middle seat easily straps into the rear storage box for storage. Place the seat in the storage box cushion-side first.
