Hewitt Citigroup has a range of benefits beyond the traditional medical, dental and vision. As an employee, you have your choice of plan for the majority of the benefits. These choices vary based on either the amount and coverage or your current location.
According to the Benefits Book Online, your medical insurance plan is based off of your zip code. Five different plans are available depending on your location. ChoicePlan 500 Aetna and Empire BlueCross BlueShield has open access along with High Deductible Health Plan Basic or Plan Premier. Oxford PPO Health Plans are available in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York states only. Those employees in Hawaii can choose the Hawaii Health Plan (UnitedHealthCare). HMOs are also available, varying by location.
Two plans are available for you to choose between: MetLife Preferred Dentist Program and CIGNA Dental HMO. CIGNA Dental HMO is cheaper for you, but you can only go to a CIGNA Dental HMO provider to use your benefits. The MetLife Preferred Dentist Program allows you to go to the dentist of your choice, without any limits.
Davis Vision provides your benefits for eye care which offers routine vision care and the supplies needed for your eye care. You will need to enroll in this plan annually and receive an ID card in the mail. This plan allows both network and out-of-network benefits. You may also choose to split benefits between network and out-of-network providers.
Disibility Coverage and Insurnace
The Disability Plan provided, according to Benefits Book Online, is for a Short-Term Disability and also for a Long-Term Disability. The benefits will replace a portion of your earnings if illness, injury or pregnancy keeps you from being able to work. Also, you are able to purchase varied insurance benefits, including Group Universal Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment; Term Life insurance for you and your children; and Long-Term Care.
