Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, sometimes mistakenly referred to as bourbon, is charcoal-mellowed drop by drop before going into oak barrels for aging. According to the Jack Daniels website, this process is what makes Jack Daniels a Tennessee whiskey and not bourbon. Jack Daniels Old No. 7 whiskey is one of the most popular whiskeys for collectors and spirits connoisseurs alike.

Place unopened bottles in a cool dark place such as a basement or cabinet.

Do not expose the bottles to extreme hot or cold temperatures.

Keep the bottle out of direct sunlight to avoid damaging its flavor.

Drink within 6 months after opening for best taste. Jack Daniels is about 40 percent alcohol by volume and will not go bad. If stored properly, it can remain in good condition for many years.
