According to Southwest Trading, the Husqvarna 55 Rancher chainsaw, though now discontinued and replaced by the 455 Rancher, is "rugged, reliable and strong enough for a wide variety of tasks." Southwest Trading cites the 55 Rancher's high engine power, light weight and vibration dampening system as reasons the 55 Rancher is a saw fit for making "simple work of the most difficult tasks."
