DX, LX and EX are designations for different trims on Honda vehicles. Honda DX has power windows, one 12-volt power outlet in the front, a rear window defroster, and remote trunk release. Door handles and side mirrors are black rather than body-colored. The DX-VP is listed at $16,555.
The LX is a step up from the DX. It has all the standard features of a DX with a value package, including air conditioning and audio system. It also offers more comfort and convenience features than a DX-VP . Additional standard equipment on the LX includes power door locks, a security system with remote entry, cruise control with steering wheel-mounted controls, and body-colored power side mirrors and door handles.The manufacturer's list price for the 2011 Honda Civic Sedan LX begins at $17,755. The LX-S, listed at $18,355, offers 16-Inch alloy wheels chrome exhaust finisher, leather-wrapped steering wheel, rear decklid spoiler, and black sport-trimmed Interior with silver stitching.
The EX is Honda's highest trim level. Everything available on the DX and LX is standard equipment on the EX. Additional features include power windows, power door locks, air conditioning, a six speaker audio system with steering-wheel mounted controls, security system with remote entry and remote trunk release, cruise control with steering-wheel mounted controls, body-colored power side mirrors and door handles, power moon roof, 12-volt power outlets in the front and center console, rear window defroster, and exterior temperature indicator. A navigation system is available as an option only on the EX. Even more features are available by selecting the "L" package, which adds leather seating, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, vehicle stability assist with traction control, brake assist, and a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The manufacturer's list price for the 2011 Honda Civic Sedan EX begins at $19,605. The LX-S list price begins at $21,955.
