Minnesota bars in small towns and in the Twin Cities area offer residents and visitors the opportunity to live out their “urban cowboy” dreams. Mechanical bull rides, popularized by a 1980 movie starring John Travolta, can be found in country-western bars around the state. Some bars even allow children to ride the mechanical bull.
