The coastline of California offers surfing, boating and beach activities in the Pacific Ocean, and it features hiking trails in recreation areas, including Redwood National Park and Point Reyes National Seashore. California's coastline also features beach-front campgrounds for RV and tent camping vacations. Some of these campgrounds offer daily, weekly and monthly rates.

Marina Dunes RV Park

The Marina Dunes RV Park is in central California, and it is less than 10 minutes from walking and cycling paths at Marina State Beach. This RV resort is also within walking distance of beach and surfing activities. The amenities at this resort include a laundromat, playground, propane station, restroom facilities and a clubhouse with a game room. Access to Wi-Fi Internet is available at the campsites. The on-site convenience store offers groceries, souvenirs and RV supplies. The RV campsites have hookups for sewage, water and electricity. Tent camping is permitted.

Malibu Beach RV Park

Situated in Malibu, this Southern California RV resort overlooks the Pacific Ocean, and it features amenities such as a dump station, on-site convenience store, laundromat, access to Wi-Fi Internet, picnic area with barbecue grills and a clubhouse with a game room. The RV campsites have views of the ocean and feature water, sewage, electric and cable television hookups. Malibu Creek State Park, which is less than 20 minutes from the RV campground, offers hiking and mountain climbing opportunities.

Beach RV Park

Beach RV Park is in the Northern California city of Santa Cruz, and it is within walking distance to beach and boating activities in the Pacific Ocean. The RV campground is also a short walk from Moran State Park, which has fishing piers and boat slips. Resort amenities include a laundromat, access to Wi-Fi Internet, shower facility and monthly rates are available. The 16 RV campsites have hookups for water, electricity, sewage and cable television.

Anchor Bay Campground

Anchor Bay Campground, located in Gualala, faces the Pacific Ocean, and it is only a 20-minute drive from the oceanfront Gualala Point County Park. This recreation area offer opportunities for walking and diving activities. Campground amenities include a garbage dump, fish-cleaning station, restroom facilities, diving gear wash area and a convenience store that sells ice and clothing apparel. The 30 RV campsites have hookups for electricity, water and sewage. The campsites also have picnic tables and fire pits.
