When you plan a bridal shower for a friend, you might be inviting guests who do not know each other. Icebreaker games are a good way to get everyone acquainted so guests will feel comfortable chatting with everyone at the shower.

Toilet Paper Game

Pass a roll of toilet paper around the bridal shower guests and have each guest take the amount of toilet paper that she thinks she will need for the game. The catch is that you don't tell the guests what the game is before they take their toilet paper. Some will take one sheet while others will take many. Then, tell the guests that they have to stand and tell everyone one fact about themselves for each square of toilet paper that they took.

Guest Trivia Game

Work with the bride before the shower to find out some obscure facts about each of the guests who will attend. Type up the list and make enough copies for each guest. Hand them out and have the guests circulate and try to find out which guest matches with each fact.

The guest who completes the trivia list first is the winner. Be sure to mark off facts about guests who did not end up coming to the shower before handing out the list.

Famous Couples

Write down names of famous couples, such as Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers or Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on slips of paper. Have your guests all choose a slip of paper. They then have to find their partner. For example, if someone chose Betty Rubble she would have to search out Barney Rubble.

When everyone has found their partner, have them all sit and chat for up to 10 minutes. When chatting time is over, everyone has to get up and introduce their partner to the rest of the group.

Two Truths and a Lie

Give each of your shower guests a piece of paper and a pen and ask them to write two truths and a lie about themselves. When everyone is finished, each should stand up one at a time and read her list. The rest of the guests have to guess which one is the lie.
