Models know a few beauty tricks most of us don't. It's not enough just to trowel on the concealer; try a neutralizing yellow tone. It will look yellow in the palette, but the color will disappear on the skin and you will lose that raccoon look, pronto.
Shrink with Hemorrhoid Cream
-
Perhaps the quirkiest secret for puffy eyes is hemorrhoid cream. It's over the counter, inexpensive and quick to use. Phenylephrine works by constricting the blood vessels. There is plenty of controversy surrounding the use of hemorrhoid cream around the eyes. The ingredients in the cream are mineral oil, petrolatum, phenylephrine and shark liver oil. Phenylephrine is used near the eye for medical purposes, in different forms. Mineral oil is a part of eye makeup removers. There are petroleum based eye lubricants, and petroleum in it's own right in a not so secret solution for raccoon-eye. Shark oil has no contraindications. However, hemorrhoid cream is not FDA approved for use around the eyes.
