Cheap Spring Wedding Flowers

If you're looking for inexpensive flowers for your wedding bouquets, centerpieces or decorations, it is always wise to choose something that is in season. When your wedding date is in the spring time, you are in luck. Lots of less expensive flowers bloom in the spring, so your florist can get them at an even cheaper rate. Flowers don't have to cost a lot to look beautiful.

Daffodil

Daffodils begin producing their bright yellow blooms in the springtime and make for inexpensive bouquets or decorations. This is also a great flower to choose if you are doing the floral arrangements yourself. Daffodils are perennial flowers and it's possible to find lots of them in your own yard, as well as neighbors' or even on the side of the road.

Freesia

Freesia are sweet smelling flowers that produce long, slender, cup-shaped blooms in lots of different shades. They are springtime flowers that work very well in bouquets or other arrangements. Use these flowers on their own, or paired with other spring blooms.

Sunflowers

Choose sunflowers for your spring wedding. Not only are sunflowers less expensive in the springtime, they produce large, showy blooms, so you won't need as many of them as you would of smaller flowers. Most sunflowers are bright yellow or orange, although you can find them in other colors as well. But the more unique shades of sunflowers can also be more expensive.

Gladiolus

A bouquet or arrangement of gladiolus flowers can help you make a splash at your wedding. These flowers are in season in the spring, so will be less expensive than if you ordered them in the fall or winter. They produce long stalks of showy blooms in shades such as white, pink, red, yellow, purple and blue.

Daisy

These happy flowers are perfect for an occasion. Use daisies in a bouquet or arrangement and pair them with another spring flower. Daisies come in all sorts of colors, but the most common daisy has white petals and a yellow center. If you want more colors, choose another daisy variety, called the Gerber daisy. Theses are also inexpensive. They have large blooms and brightly-colored petals in lots of different shades, including pink, purple, blue and yellow.
