If you are looking for a place to stay on your Walt Disney World vacation that offers a little extra room and the convenience of a microwave and refrigerator, you can stay at a deluxe villa in a Disney-owned resort. Each resort features a distinct theme, recreation activities, a choice of dining locations and the benefit of being minutes away from the Walt Disney World theme parks. As a resort guest, you can enjoy special perks such as Extra Magic Hours (additional hours in the theme parks) and complimentary bus transportation to the theme parks, water parks and airport.

Disney's Old Key West Resort

Disney's Old Key West evokes the laid-back atmosphere of the Florida Keys with palm tree-lined streets, pastel-colored buildings with white picket fences, and soft tropical music in the background. The resort is made up of studios with kitchenettes and one-, two- and three-bedroom villas with full kitchens. The resort also has bike rentals, swimming pools, and a marina with boat rentals and boat transportation to Downtown Disney. You can dine on Florida-inspired cuisine at Olivia's Restaurant, have pizza delivered to your room, pick up a quick meal from Goods to Go or enjoy a frozen concoction at the Gurgling Suitcase bar.

You will find a three-acre swimming pool area with a water slide and sandy bottom, a separate quiet pool, nightly movies on the beach, and several quiet seating areas tucked away that serve as the perfect place to relax with a book and a drink from the pool bar. Studio rooms feature a kitchenette with a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, a sink, dish soap, utensils and paper plates, while one- and two-bedroom villas come complete with full kitchens. Some upper-floor rooms overlook Epcot, with a view of the nightly fireworks.

The Villas at Wilderness Lodge

Set among towering pine trees just across Bay Lake from the Magic Kingdom theme park, the Villas at Wilderness Lodge are designed to resemble the national park lodges of the Pacific northwest. You can relax in either of the resort's two pools, enjoy the shaded jogging trail that runs to the Fort Wilderness Campground, catch the hourly eruption of the poolside geyser, soak up the sun on the white sand beach or tone up in the fitness center. The adjacent Wilderness Lodge resort offers a choice of fine dining, an energetic family-friendly restaurant, a quick service restaurant, a lounge and a pool bar. In addition to the standard Disney bus transportation, you will also find boat service to the Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness Campground.
