Located in west Tokyo, Shibuya is one of the newest entertainment and shopping districts known for its vibrant nightlife scene that lures crowds of faddish youth and others looking for a good time. With its flashy blue and red exterior, Casa Di Due is hard to miss. Check-in or wait for your lover at the pink disco-like lobby and waiting lounge complete with heart-shaped sofa cushions. The hotel offers 28 brightly colored rooms with modern decor, and generous amenities such as complimentary costume rentals, video games and on-demand movies. There is also 24-hour room service, and conveniently located vending machines that sell adult toys and drinks.

One of the most coveted love hotels in Shibuya, Beat Wave is a music-themed love hotel that mostly attracts a twenty-something crowd. Spend a night or a couple of hours in rooms with music-themed decor that range from folk to pop. The pop room has a wall decked with photographs of singers and a glow in the dark image of stuffed animals floating past the Milky Way.

For a memorable evening, stay in the suite that replicates the 1960s residence of Takuro Yoshida and Yosui Inoue (two famous Japanese folk singers).
