Baths have been around for ages. Many people take a bath everyday to cleanse themselves or to relax. Kids enjoy playing in a bubble bath. Dogs need them on occasion to clean their coats. Some people don’t want to bathe that often, if at all, for differing reason such as conserving water or they simply don’t want to.

Drier Skin

Long, hot baths, though relaxing and enjoyable for many people, can actually dry out your body’s skin treatment, according to the Dry Skin Treatment website. Along with these baths, using soaps and bath oils can add to the problem. It would be better to use mild cleansers and soaps.

Acne is caused by an overproduction of oil in the body. This leads to the pores in the skin being blocked, which leads to acne. One of the lifestyle changes that you can do to avoid this is to wash your problem areas with a gentle cleanser. This is something that can be done by bathing. If you don’t bathe, you will need to make sure you still wash the problem areas with a hand washcloth.

Dirtier Skin

If you don’t bathe, you won’t be washing the dirt and germs from your body. You will need to at least wipe yourself down with an anti-bacterial wipe. It can be difficult, though, to reach everywhere on your body with a wipe. A bath makes it much easier to cleanse places like your back.
