Industry Development Trust Funds
Industry Development Trust Funds are available to residents of British Columbia who are not applying on behalf of a commercial entity. To be eligible to receive funding you must prove viability, profitability, etc., according to the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture and Lands. The trust funds are managed by an independent trustee rather than a government agent, and all initiatives are approved, administered and managed by an advisory committee that is comprised of members of your industry, according to the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture and Lands.

Cultivated Mushroom Industry Initiative
This funding is available only to farmers specializing in the cultivated mushroom industry in British Columbia. It is part of the Agri-Food Futures Food, and it was started to help strengthen and grow the industry in the province. You can apply for funding if you are interested in or working toward improving industry food standards and advancing market development, according to the Investment Agriculture Foundation of British Columbia.

British Columbia Environmental Farm Planning
British Columbia Environmental Farm Planning funding is available to farm businesses of all types and sizes in the province. Funds are provided through the Growing Forward initiative, which is committed to supporting Canada's agriculture sector. Growing Forward is sponsored by the Canadian government, which has invest $1.3 billion over five years in the endeavor, according to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. The funding for farmers encourages development of environmental farm plans.
