Hair
-
When you are selecting the hair that you will use as a weave, make certain that it is top quality human hair. It also most match the texture, color and length of the person's hair. The reason that it should be human hair is that synthetic hair can actually melt if you use any hot tools on it such as a hair dryer or straightening iron. Also, human hair looks better.
Relaxer
-
Before you glue the tracks of hair onto the human hair, it should be relaxed just before hand. Bonded weaves look best on hair that has been recently relaxed. Relaxed hair has straight roots, which make the hair flat and smooth. If you haven't relaxed the hair recently, take the time to flat iron the roots and hair pin straight before you bond the weave onto the hair.

Glue
-
Take special care when applying the bonding glue. You must use the glue sparingly. You will first put a small amount of the bonding glue onto the track of the weave. You then attach each track of weave as close as possible to your hair root. Do not over-apply the glue as you must avoid getting too much of it on the hair and scalp. It can irritate your scalp and even cause an allergic reaction.
