Situated in Engelwood, Oak Grove is a 55-and-over resident-owned community with 181 sites for mobile homes. Located in a grove of oak trees, the community has park benches scattered around a property that is within walking distance of a beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Residents enjoy its screened and heated pool as well as various planned activities such as pool aerobics, billiards, and arts and crafts. Residents hold dances, pot luck dinners, bingo nights, Bible studies and card games in Oak Grove's clubhouse. RV rental sites are available. The community also publishes a newsletter to keep residents informed of any news or upcoming events.

North River Estates
The North River Estates in the Tampa area is a park in which residents own their homes and land. it has 97 mobile home sites, including some with a view of the river. A 55-and-over community, the North River Estates allows pets and has a clubhouse with an activities room, arts and crafts room, and a community kitchen. The park's roads, water and sewer are maintained by Manatee County. Another feature is a heated pool. The North River Estates are one mile from stores, banks and a post office. An outlet mall and Interstate 75 are two miles from the park. Golf courses are less than four miles from North River Estates. The park offers 30-year financing.

Chateau Village
Located on a 40-acre property, Chateau Village Chateau is a resident-owned mobile home community with 262 sites in Bradenton. Most of its residents are there on a seasonal basis. It also has 14 full hook-up sites set aside for RVs on the edge of the park. For recreational enjoyment Chateau Village has a clubhouse, a heated pool with restrooms and showers, shuffleboard courts and a horseshoe pit. Planned activities include golf outings, coffee socials, bowling, bingo nights, card games, potluck dinners, Bible study, luncheons, and arts and crafts groups. A storage area for boats and RVs is available for a marginal fee. The property also has a laundry facility.
