The Capture
-
If you are looking for a bike to ride with style, for around $289, the Capture has high-end features like 3-piece cranks, mid-sized BB, a sealed bearing, rotor and pegs. The Capture is silver and yellow with a Mongoose-label tiger-striped seat. The list cost reflects U.S. pricing and does not include freight and assembly; it's the same for all the bikes, varying a bit by region.
The Article
-
This fuchsia-colored bike goes for $329. The advertising text reads "Bring the bling and save the duckets." This new Article has everything, at a reduced cost: a Cro-Mo main frame, sealed bearing, mid-sized BB, 3-piece cranks, color- matched poly-carb pedals, an Odyssey cassette hub, a Mongoose Ultralight stem, and "Primo" grips. Throw in the limitless potential of a rotor, pegs and front and rear brakes and wrap it up in a fuschia paint scheme with checkered detail. It is an attention-grabbing freestyle rig, according to the makers at the Mongoose BMX site.

The Diagram
-
Fly high on the "Diagram". The Diagram costs $419.99 and is designed for bar spinning, and rail grinding. The Mongoose BMX website reads, "with a Cro-Mo main frame, 3-piece tubular Cro-Mo cranks, 9t cassette hub and spec'ed out with a rotor, sealed bearing mid-sized BB, an integrated headset, pegs and dual brakes you can be free to work on bar spinning out of that rail for extra style points." This bike is available in white with green trim and diamond accent designs.
