There are various ways that you can raise money quickly.

Most people would love to be able to make quick money. While the definition of "quick money" can be somewhat subjective, there are a number of ideas that you can explore to make money fairly quickly. The idea(s) you choose to pursue will be based on your particular circumstances, such as the amount of money you need to raise, as well as your own skills and just how fast you need the money.

  1. Yard Sale and Pawn Shops

    • If you need to raise a smaller amount quickly, consider having a yard sale. You can sell items you no longer need and in the process of making money you can remove the clutter from your home. Advertise your yard sale in the newspaper and local bulletin boards in your community. If you are a college student in desperate need of a book or someone who simply needs a little money quickly, consider selling something to a pawn shop. Jewelry or electronic items are your best chance of getting large sums of cash.

    Selling Online

    • One way to make quick money is to sell items at online auction sites like eBay. Another is to create designs that can be placed on an array of items including t-shirts through companies like CafePress or Zazzle. You don't need to pay to maintain an inventory, as these companies print on demand. You will need to promote your products like mad online through blogs, websites (avoid spamming) and through advertisement. Also list your products in search engines like Google and Yahoo.

    Recyclables

    • If you live in an area with a lot of tourists, like a beach or camping area, you can expect that there will be large numbers of plastic bottles and aluminum cans that are discarded rather than deposited in recycle bins. This means that you can often raise some money quickly by scouring the area to find all the recyclables you can and returning them for the deposit. For example, if you are in California it only takes a few garbage bags full of bottles to make $20 or more.
