The Kaufman Foundation puts strong emphasis on this category in its overall philosophy, and when considering grant candidates. Specific components of this category include Youth Entrepreneurship, Minority Entrepreneurship, Higher Education, and Global Entrepreneurship. Kauffman grants and support in these areas are focused on programs that engage and motivate kids to be entrepreneurs, encourage success in minority entrepreneurs and develop the capacity of a university to teach or develop entrepreneurial skills.
Education

Many educational grants are rewarded by the Kauffman Foundation. Kauffman grants support a variety of areas within the realm of education, especially programs directly connected to promoting math, science, technology and engineering in young aspiring entrepreneurs.
