Allstate Insurance Grants

Allstate Insurance Co. offers grants to charitable organizations and communities through the Allstate Foundation. Funded through contributions from subsidiaries of Allstate Corp., the foundation was established in 1952. It invests millions of dollars annually in the form of community grants.

  1. Who May Apply

    • Non-profit organizations with a 501(c)(3) designation may apply for the first time or apply for a renewal of grants on an annual basis, according to the Allstate website. Non-profit organizations must complete an eligibility questionnaire to determine whether they qualify to apply and also must submit a valid tax-exempt Employee identification Number. Federal, state and municipal governments may also make a first-time application or apply for a renewal of an existing grant.

    Signature Programs

    • The Allstate Foundation's signature programs are the Teen Safe Driving Grant and the Economic Empowerment for Domestic Violence Survivors Grant.

The Teen Safe Driving program's primary focus is Keep the Drive, a teen-to-teen smart driving movement that uses peer pressure to influence teens in their driving habits.

The Economic Empowerment for Domestic Violence Survivors program uses a competitive grant process. The grants fund collaborations by domestic violence organizations on the local, state and national levels to provide the most up-to-date services.

    Application Process

    • Applicants must meet annual deadlines when applying for first-time grants or to renew an existing grant. Applications may be made online or by contacting the Allstate Foundation by email (see Resources).
