Much like a car engine, marine vessel engines can encounter a variety problems and need repair. Boat owners and professional mariners interested in how to maintain the inner workings of their vessels can learn more in a professional training program. Marine maintenance and repair programs offer instruction on general maintenance as well as how to repair specific engines. Several schools across the country offer programs in marine engine repair and maintenance.
